FWAHling in Love

Thank you to everyone at our FWAHther's Day dinner this past Sunday, June 21st, for making the event one to remember. From Father's Day, to Summer Solstice, and Muriel Fisher's ?th Birthday, there were many reasons to celebrate. An extra special thanks to Paul for his poetry reading and for popping the French bubbly to celebrate Muriel's special day. It was an honor and a pleasure to see so many new faces (and some old) on Sunday.

We also want to express our sincerest thanks to Jeremy Seywer, whose performance at FWAH truly stood out as one of our best FWAHrtists so far. Jeremy's somewhat mellow songs, were smooth and inviting, his lyrics thoughtful and precise, and we truly enjoyed his performance at FWAH. Jeremy, we know you are going places as a solo artist (we haven't yet heard his band, Seashell Radio perform), and we look forward to fwahllowing your rise as a singer/songwriter.

Coming up, we have two exciting events planned. Join us July 12th at 7pm for a Middle Eastern Feast and what was originally planned to be a Strong, Sexy Woman dinner. We pondered this for weeks before deciding that a Strong, Sexy Women dinner would be even better with a few fine gentleman...so invitations are now open to both women and men at our July 12th event. Nicki Santini, a local modern/pop artist with abstract sensibilities, will be showcasing her paintings at this event!

Then, on July 26th at 7pm, join us on a culinary adventure yet to be announced that will be sure to delight your palette with taste, texture and color.

Singer/Songwriter to Perfom at FWAH this Sunday!

FWAH is so excited, it can barely keep it's pants on! That's because of our upcoming FWArtist-- Jeremy Serwer, of Seashell Radio! Jeremy will be joining us this Sunday to sing a few songs as part of this week's FWAH event. Serwer is described in Salem Oregon's Statesman Journal as "a blend of Nick Drake, Richard Buckner, and Martin Sexton".

The Elf of Plants

Thanks to everyone who attended "Le Champignon" FWAH dinner on Sunday, June 7th! We had a great time getting to know each and everyone of you, and were pleased to serve such an enthusiastic crowd. With each new course, the room fell silent with first sights and bites, before steady chatter resumed once more.

Special thanks to John Clarke, our FWArtist, whose 3-D photographic art was featured at last night's event. (John, please come pick up that shit, those dudes are scaaary!)

We hope that everyone enjoyed the vegetarian meal as much as we did. We look forward to your feedback and to seeing your beautiful faces at upcoming events. Stay tuned for menus and check back often for updates, photos, and more.

Thank you,

FWAH

fwahtography

Here's to an unfwahgettable evening!

Thank you to everyone who dined with us at FWAH this weekend. First times can be sloppy, there are often kinks to be worked out, and finishing touches to be made, but first times are also a lot of fun, and fun we had...

On Sunday, March 29, FWAH opened it's doors for the very first time. Cool breeze filtered through the rustic windows, subduing the desert heat. It felt good to be open! And things went smoothly. And we couldn't have asked for a better group of first timers. Thank you.

The evening began with Thai tea and introductions, transitioning into a champagne toast and a word from our talented Chef, and then through a five-course meal, with art, wine, and of course, happy, woven seamlessly throughout the meal. Quiet chatter among strangers with common interests morphed into laughter, friendship, and admiration.

Arriving fashionably late, the lovely and talented Alexandra Fisher and Kevin Johnson, the artists behind Clamdiggin, gave a smart introduction to their work, displayed across the FW(A)H Artist's wall, and added a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to the evening.

For those of you who are smacking yourselves (or your lips) for missing out on this weekend's hippest dinner spot, fret not! Another FWAH dinner is just around the corner. Stay in the loop for menu details and dates.

Finally, we'd like to turn it over to our guests. How did you enjoy your first dining experience with FWAH? Do you have any suggestions for us? Please don't be shy!
