Fish & Loaves FWAHtography

Thank you to our guests at FWAH's May 3rd dinner, Fish & Loaves, and special thanks to our FWAH artist, Aaron Farber, whose underwater photography was featured at our May 3rd event.

Many new faces and some we've seen before, it was truly a pleasure to meet and serve each and everyone of you! Thanks again for your support in these early stages of FWAH.

In the next few months, we have a few exciting things already planned, including an outdoor Willcox pig roast complete with live band, a Strong Sexy Women dinner with a Middle Eastern theme (sorry, guys!), as well as other surprises in the mix!

If you have your own photos from FWAH you'd like to share, please email us at fwahdinner@gmail.com.

fwahtography

Here's to an unfwahgettable evening!

Thank you to everyone who dined with us at FWAH this weekend. First times can be sloppy, there are often kinks to be worked out, and finishing touches to be made, but first times are also a lot of fun, and fun we had...

On Sunday, March 29, FWAH opened it's doors for the very first time. Cool breeze filtered through the rustic windows, subduing the desert heat. It felt good to be open! And things went smoothly. And we couldn't have asked for a better group of first timers. Thank you.

The evening began with Thai tea and introductions, transitioning into a champagne toast and a word from our talented Chef, and then through a five-course meal, with art, wine, and of course, happy, woven seamlessly throughout the meal. Quiet chatter among strangers with common interests morphed into laughter, friendship, and admiration.

Arriving fashionably late, the lovely and talented Alexandra Fisher and Kevin Johnson, the artists behind Clamdiggin, gave a smart introduction to their work, displayed across the FW(A)H Artist's wall, and added a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to the evening.

For those of you who are smacking yourselves (or your lips) for missing out on this weekend's hippest dinner spot, fret not! Another FWAH dinner is just around the corner. Stay in the loop for menu details and dates.

Finally, we'd like to turn it over to our guests. How did you enjoy your first dining experience with FWAH? Do you have any suggestions for us? Please don't be shy!

Throughout the month of March, details will be finalized on all things FWAH in preparation for our opening this Spring 2009!

The FWAH dining room is nearly up and running...
...and the buds of the FWAH garden are beginning to pop up in flavors of pineapple basil, lavender, and citrus...

Fwah cherie amour, pretty as a summer day...
